Epic Games or Mihoyo: How to Choose the Best Launcher for Genshin Impact

since i have downloaded genshin impact from epic games store, it is actually quite a hassle to launch the launcher since it will need to run epic games first. Is there a way to download the original launcher from its website without deleting the whole game?

If you a problem with Epic Games Launcher downloads/updates like slow downloads or making your PC crash then this might help you. After lots of research I found a solution for this problem. The reason that this happens is because of HDD, the epic games launcher will download and install at the same time and HDD is making it very slow even when your install location is not in HDD. I have two SSD and one HDD, I tried to download after disabling the HDD, the download speed spiked up to the max speed and I didn't had any issues with the download and install at the same time. So please try this if you run in to this problem.

You should now hopefully have way higher download speeds for pretty much all games.As I said, a lot of people have commented on my previous post about this in the past year, so I know it works for the majority of people.

Apart from it being annoying to have to download yet another launcher, is there a "good" reason to not download the epic launcher? there's a few exclusives there and they do give some free games every month, but I've heard there's user security concerns about how Epic handles user data, dunno if it's true or not.
